Historic Breakthrough | Led By Infore Enviro! The First ISO International Standard For Sanitation Equipment Compiled By A Chinese Enterprise Is Officially Released!

On October 14, coinciding with the 56th "World Standards Day", exciting news came from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO): the ISO international standard Vocabulary, Classification and Commercial Specification Requirements for Refuse Collection Vehicles(ISO 13155), led by Infore Enviro, has completed all formulation procedures and is officially released globally.
This is the first ISO international standard led and officially released by China's sanitation vehicle manufacturing industry, marking a historic leap for our country in this field from technological "following" to rule "leading", and sending a loud "Chinese voice" in the global sanitation industry.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established in 1947 and is the world's largest and most authoritative non-governmental international standardization body. Among them, the secretariat of ISO/TC 297 (Technical Committee for Waste Collection and Transport Management) is located in Germany, dedicated to formulating international standards for equipment and systems related to the collection, storage, and transport of waste and recyclables.
The successful release of the ISO 13155 standard is the result of long-term cultivation and international collaboration. Since its official project establishment in June 2022, under the leadership of Infore Enviro, the project has gone through multiple rounds of discussion, demonstration, and review with ISO/TC 297 member countries such as Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, and finally gathered global consensus-taking three years to achieve success.
Filling International Gaps and Grasping Discourse Power in the International Sanitation Field

For a long time, the global refuse collection vehicle industry has faced the pain point of "terminology confusion": inconsistent names for functional components and vague definitions of performance indicators-like "language barriers"-which seriously hinder international trade circulation, technological collaborative innovation, and industry standardization management.
The release of the ISO 13155 standard has, for the first time, built an authoritative and universal "technical language system" for the global refuse collection vehicle industry (like an authoritative "Esperanto" dictionary), accurately solving this core pain point.
.01 Unify Norms and Eliminate Ambiguity: Clearly define and standardize various functional components and key performance indicators of refuse collection vehicles, establishing a globally universal technical language system.
.02 Break Barriers and Promote Collaboration: Break terminology barriers caused by differences in national standards, promote efficient communication between manufacturers, users, and regulatory agencies-improving overall industry efficiency and opening a convenient channel for Chinese sanitation equipment to "go global".
.03 Lay the Foundation and Lead Development: As a basic standard, it lays a solid foundation for subsequent formulation of more specific international standards (e.g., safety, performance, operation of refuse collection vehicles).
Hard Power Witness: From Industry Benchmark to International Leader

As a leading enterprise in sanitation equipment manufacturing, Infore Enviro is not only the world's largest single-brand sanitation equipment enterprise but also the world's largest new energy sanitation vehicle company-with profound technical accumulation and rich market practice experience. Its products are sold to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.
The official release of the ISO 13155 standard not only verifies Infore Enviro's international status in leading industry innovation and development but also promotes China's advanced sanitation technology, manufacturing processes, and management experience to the world. It effectively enhances the influence of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" in the global sanitation field-promoting global sharing of Chinese solutions through "standards going global" and helping the global sanitation cause upgrade toward cleaner, lower-carbon, and smarter directions.
In the future, Infore Enviro will continue to adhere to its mission of "Making the World Cleaner, Making the Future Better", deeply explore more segmented sanitation fields, and actively participate in formulating more international standards. It will drive technology, products, and services to "go global" through standards "going global", continuously improve the international competitiveness of China's sanitation industry, and contribute more Chinese wisdom to global environmental governance.
