The transmission fluid is changed regularly
The oil of the gearbox bears the role of reducing wear, reducing friction and improving output power, and timely replacement can extend the service life of the gearbox. When will it be replaced? The time can refer to the maintenance manual brought with the car purchase, because the structural configuration of different manufacturers is not the same, and the natural time is also differentiated. And in the replacement can not be cheap to choose other models of transmission oil, must be the original factory, different oil can not meet the needs of the transmission cloud and heat dissipation, different models also have different viscosity, so the mixing of two different models will affect the performance of the gearbox, and finally damage any part of the gearbox is not worth the loss.
A lack of oil in the gearbox or a long time without oil change can also cause damage:
1, gearbox lack of oil, lubrication effect will be reduced, gearbox is prone to abnormal sound, gear is not smooth, parts wear faster, easy to damage;
2, the gearbox is short of oil, the cooling effect will be reduced, may cause the internal temperature of the gearbox to rise, and will burn the internal parts of the gearbox in serious cases, resulting in the gearbox being scrapped.
3, the transmission oil amount is too much, will cause high oil pressure, oil seal is easy to leak oil, in addition, more oil will increase the burden of the oil pump, poor circulation caused by temperature rise, loud noise, more oil will also cause internal gear resistance, affect power.
Routine inspection of gearbox
After driving a certain number of kilometers, it is necessary to check whether the gearbox has oil leakage, and once it is found that there is oil leakage, the cause should be immediately identified and timely inspection and maintenance. Because the oil in the gearbox is brought to the surface of each gear by the bottom of the gearbox oil through the gear, the oil can be attached to the gear surface to ensure good lubrication between the gears. If the oil in the gearbox is lower than the normal range, the oil cannot be splashed onto the surface of each gear through gear rotation. In this way, the metal surface generates huge heat, it is easy to wear the gear surface, and in serious cases, it will burn the gear, so that it can not rotate!
